According to Chinese customs, China-Germany goods trade reached 1.51 trillion yuan in 2025 (up 5.2% YoY). Germany is China's top EU trade partner, China returns as Germany's largest. Mechanical and electrical products dominate, with autos, electronics and emerging products like 3D printers noted. Both are win-win comprehensive strategic partners.

On February 15th, Sun Meijun, Director General of the General Administration of Customs, conducted a video inspection of key ports on the first day of the Spring Festival holiday, extended greetings to frontline staff, and deployed measures for smooth customs clearance, emergency response, and risk prevention. China will implement zero tariff measures for 53 African countries with diplomatic ties starting May 1, 2026. Huangdao Customs supervised the release of 17 tons of Vietnam-imported fresh dragon fruit to domestic markets for the Spring Festival. Customs optimized clearance (green channel, priority inspection) for efficiency, plus strict quarantine. Since Jan, over 6000 tons of fresh fruits were imported at Huangdao Port.

Milan Winter Olympics fuels global ice and snow sports enthusiasm, spurring Weihai's ice and snow equipment exports. Weihai Customs innovates regulatory services (e.g., item number level supervision) to enhance clearance efficiency, cut costs, and support enterprises like Kaitai Sports, aiming to expand global market share.

On Feb 2, 2026, China's General Administration of Customs issued Announcement No.15, cutting VAT rate for imported "other flaxseed oils and their products" from 13% to 9%. This boosts Ningxia's flaxseed deep processing industry, helps enterprises extend chains, and is supported by policy research and enterprise confidence.

Yan'an's local products (Luochuan apples, Yichuan peppercorns, Yan'an-made sucker rods) expand overseas (Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Kazakhstan) with Yan'an Customs' support, linked to the Belt and Road, to boost foreign trade and rural revitalization.

Weinan Customs reported 2025 Qinchuan cattle exports (1612 heads, 53.691 million yuan) rose 23.3%/37.1% YoY, top in Shaanxi. The breed is favored in Hong Kong. Customs took measures to boost exports, benefiting Hong Kong citizens and local enterprises, and will continue supporting opening up and rural revitalization.

On January 26th, 2026, it was learned that Xi'an's 2025 import-export value reached 498.79 billion yuan (21.1% YoY growth, 17.3pp higher than national average), with 5 features. 14th Five Year Plan cumulative import-export exceeded 2 trillion yuan. Guanzhong Customs will support its foreign trade development.
