Recently, a batch of 28.8 tons of Sichuan pepper flavored bamboo shoots produced by Changning Sunsea Jialong Food Co., Ltd. were officially shipped to Cambodia after passing the inspection by Yibin Customs under the jurisdiction of Chengdu Customs. This is the sixth batch of products exported by the company since the completion of the export food production enterprise registration at the beginning of this year.
According to statistics from Yibin Customs, in the first quarter of this year, the export value of bamboo shoots from Yibin's jurisdiction reached 2.54 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.67 times.
Yibin is rich in bamboo resources, with the largest bamboo forest area in Sichuan Province, and has enormous potential for the industry to expand overseas. Recently, after remote inspection by Yiyang Customs officers under Changsha Customs, 28.4 tons of bamboo flooring produced by Hunan Taohuajiang Bamboo Technology Co., Ltd. were exported to Southeast Asia. This product is a newly developed high carbon and high-density recombinant bamboo flooring by the company, which applies the latest anti mold and anti insect technology, especially suitable for outdoor flooring. It has been favored by foreign customers since its launch, "said the company's person in charge.  
As of now, bamboo enterprises in Yiyang City have obtained nearly 200 innovative patents for bamboo products, especially high-end bamboo boards and other products, which accurately match the global green and outdoor market consumption trends. The person in charge of the Supervision and Audit Department of Yiyang Customs introduced that since the beginning of this year, in addition to traditional bamboo chopsticks, bamboo mats, and other bamboo products, the proportion of products with high technical content and added value such as bamboo boards and bamboo handicrafts for export has gradually increased.  
According to statistics, in the first quarter of this year, the export value of bamboo products in Yiyang City was 45.23 million yuan, of which 14.38 million yuan was high-end bamboo boards with high added value, accounting for a rapidly increasing proportion.  
In order to safeguard the export of characteristic products, Yiyang Customs has implemented precise measures. Starting from September 2025, it will achieve full coverage of remote inspection and testing of bamboo products exports, and implement graded and classified precise supervision, allowing enterprises to achieve "inspection and reporting without leaving home", shorten export clearance time, and further reduce comprehensive costs.
