In the first four months of this year, the export of electrical control equipment in Fujian Province increased by nearly 40%

In recent years, driven by the transformation of industrial energy, the rise of emerging industries, and the goal of carbon neutrality, there has been a global wave of electrification and grid automation. Fujian Province, as a major exporter of mechanical and electrical products, actively expands overseas markets with a solid industrial foundation. The export of electrical control devices has achieved rapid growth along with the high prosperity of the industry. According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, the export of electrical control devices in Fujian Province reached 5.44 billion yuan in the first four months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 38.3%, ranking fifth in the country.

Fujian Province is deeply cultivating the export of electrical control devices in markets such as ASEAN and the European Union, and actively exploring emerging markets. ASEAN is the largest export market for electrical control equipment in Fujian Province. In the first four months of this year, Fujian Province exported 1.43 billion yuan of electrical control devices to ASEAN, an increase of 100%, accounting for 26.2% of the total export value of electrical control devices in Fujian Province during the same period. During the same period, exports to the European Union amounted to 1.11 billion yuan, an increase of 82.3%, accounting for 20.3%.

The export of electrical control devices in Fujian Province is mainly conducted through general trade. In the first four months of this year, enterprises in Fujian Province exported electrical control devices in general trade for 4.26 billion yuan, an increase of 45%, accounting for 78.3% of the total export value of electrical control devices in Fujian Province during the same period. During the same period, exports through processing trade amounted to 740 million yuan, an increase of 28.9%, accounting for 13.5%.

Private enterprises account for half of the exports of electrical control devices in Fujian Province. In the first four months of this year, the export of electrical control devices from private enterprises reached 2.72 billion yuan, an increase of 36.4%, accounting for 49.9% of the total export value of electrical control devices in Fujian Province during the same period. During the same period, foreign-invested enterprises exported electrical control devices worth 2.42 billion yuan, an increase of 51.5%, accounting for 44.4%

From the perspective of brand types, the export products of electrical control devices in Fujian Province are mainly from overseas brands. In the first four months of this year, Fujian Province exported overseas branded electrical control devices worth 3.07 billion yuan, an increase of 63.7%, accounting for 56.5% of the total export value of electrical control devices in Fujian Province during the same period. Meanwhile, the development momentum of independent brands in Fujian Province is good, with exports reaching 1.69 billion yuan, an increase of 21.9%, accounting for 31.1%.
