On March 2nd, Meishan Port Area of Ningbo Zhoushan Port first used Yushu Technology's quadruped robot dog to automatically shoot and recognize container numbers and lead seals, realizing embodied intelligent application of customs heavy container inspection, improving efficiency, solving labor shortage issues, and planning further intelligent application expansion.

At the inspection site of Phase II of Meishan Port Area in Ningbo Zhoushan Port, the first heavy box inspection auxiliary robot (robotic dog) developed by Meishan Customs (Ningbo Customs) in China has been applied. It can accurately recognize container numbers and seals, greatly improving inspection efficiency and reducing labor costs, supporting smart customs construction.

This year marks the 75th China-Pakistan diplomatic anniversary. Fujian's 2025 trade with Pakistan reached 8.049 billion yuan (23.26% year-on-year growth). Xishuangbanna Customs supervised 33 tons of Laotian natural rubber clearance. In Jan 2026, its imported rubber was worth 140m yuan (174.4% YoY growth). Zero tariff via origin certificates, policy guidance and convenient measures cut inspection time, boosting regional trade and Belt and Road development.

Jining Customs promotes AEO cultivation to empower Jining's foreign trade high-quality development. AEO enterprises enjoy customs clearance conveniences, international mutual recognition, and multi-department incentives. By 2025, 32 Jining AEO enterprises account for 15.4% of the city's foreign trade. Customs provides precise coaching to expand AEO coverage.

In 2026, China implemented zero tariff and zero VAT on imported gold-bearing pyrite, reducing gold enterprises' costs. Qingdao Customs promoted the policy, expected to cut national import costs by ~3 billion yuan annually, boosting competitiveness and supply stability.

Recently, 250 tons of Brazilian peanut meal (China’s first import of this product) was successfully cleared by Huangdao Customs under Qingdao Customs. A high-protein feed byproduct, its import broadens feed raw material channels. Customs streamlined procedures to ensure smooth clearance and safety.

On March 2, China's first cross-border e-commerce retail export "pre supervision warehouse" launched in Weihai, Shandong. The model embeds customs supervision in enterprise warehouses, cutting clearance time/costs, solving traditional issues, and boosting cross-border e-commerce high-quality development.

Shanghai Customs reports 2025 Shanghai Port had 544 cruise ships (17.5% up from 2024) and 1.857M passengers (35.1% up). Domestic "Aida Modu" made 170 trips. 2026 Spring Festival peak sees hot market; Jan 27 had two ships docking, 11k passengers supervised.

On Feb 9, 2026, EK304 flight carrying 1620kg South African plums arrived at Shanghai Pudong Airport, the first African plums imported via general trade at Shanghai Port. With deepening China-Africa trade under BRI, Shanghai Customs ensures safety and facilitates clearance, 2025 African agri imports via Shanghai hit 10.03b yuan (+25.3%).
