Recently, in the processing workshop of Dalian Qianri Aquatic Products Co., Ltd., the assembly line is running at high speed, and workers are processing, packaging, and freezing fresh sea urchins one by one. After passing the inspection and quarantine by the customs officers of Dalian Port Customs under Dalian Customs, 275 boxes of frozen sea urchins were successfully cleared and released, and will soon be exported to overseas markets through cold chain transportation.

As a characteristic aquaculture product in the Liaodong Sea area, Dalian sea urchin is increasingly favored by the international catering market due to its unique freshness and rich nutritional value, becoming a shining business card for conveying Dalian's marine food culture.

Since last year, we have continued to receive orders from multiple overseas markets. Seafood products require high customs clearance efficiency, and we are not familiar with the export regulations of newly expanded overseas markets. Any slight mistake may result in delayed delivery of orders, "said Xu Yi, Production Manager of Dalian Qianri Aquatic Products Co., Ltd.

In order to assist Dalian's marine specialty agricultural and aquatic products in smoothly expanding into the international market, Dalian Port Customs has established a "One Enterprise, One Strategy" agricultural and aquatic assistance team, which conducts on-site visits to enterprise production workshops, understands product cold chain warehousing, logistics and other links, and customizes regulatory service plans. At the same time, in response to the high time requirements for customs clearance of fresh and perishable aquatic products, Dalian Port Customs has fully implemented "pre inspection, immediate reporting and inspection, and immediate release after sampling", maximizing the compression of inspection time and certificate processing time, actively coordinating with the port to optimize the cargo drop and transportation process, and achieving "zero detention and zero waiting" customs clearance of high-value sea urchin products.

In addition, Dalian Port Customs also provides detailed information to enterprises on the latest market access requirements of export destination countries, taking into account the export characteristics of fresh and frozen sea urchins. They guide enterprises throughout the process to improve the quality assurance system of raw material source tracing, production process control, and cold chain warehousing and transportation, and strictly control product safety and quality from the source.

According to statistics, in the first quarter of this year, Dalian Port Customs supervised the export of 28.9 tons of sea urchin products, a year-on-year increase of 39.7%. (Jiang Hongyu, Ichiro Takada/Text)
