Ryan TIR runs more and more smoothly

A TIR (International Road Transport) vehicle loaded with blankets drove out of the Rui'an Selda Customs supervised operation site under the supervision of Wenzhou Customs in the early morning. This TIR vehicle with Zhejiang C license plate will exit through Manzhouli Port and arrive directly in Moscow in about 12 days.
The relevant person in charge of the Rui'an Municipal Bureau of Commerce introduced that currently, Rui'an has opened 23 TIR routes to four countries including Russia and Belarus, and 1 GMS (Greater Mekong Subregion) cross-border road transportation route to Vietnam. Since its launch at the end of 2024, more than 380 vehicles have been dispatched and the value of goods has exceeded 300 million yuan. From January to April this year, over 160 Ruian TIRs were dispatched.
In order to improve the quality and efficiency of shoes, clothing, automotive and motorcycle accessories, and fashionable light industrial products going global, Rui'an Commerce, Transportation and other departments, together with Wenzhou Customs, will launch the TIR cross-border logistics model by the end of 2024. At the same time, in the form of "state-owned enterprise+private enterprise" cooperation, Ruixinou International Logistics Co., Ltd. was established, investing 100 professional TIR transport vehicles.
Going both ways to reduce costs. At the beginning of this year, a TIR truck carrying 17.9 tons of Russian buckwheat husks arrived at the Ruianserda customs supervision site and completed customs clearance. The person in charge of the International Business Department of Wenzhou Juxin International Multimodal Transport Port Co., Ltd. said, "By returning and loading in both directions, transportation can save about 300000 yuan in cash flow. At present, there are various logistics options available for small batch and high time efficient goods, such as "TIR+market procurement", "TIR+cross-border e-commerce", and "TIR return delivery".
Optimize services and accelerate comprehensively. At the end of April this year, after qualification review by the Ministry of Transport, the first international road transport vehicle testing center in the province was established in Rui'an. In the past, TIR vehicles needed to be tested and registered in other places, but now they can be done right at home. Entering the Rui'an International Card and Airline Service Center, the TIR document issuance time that originally required several days has been compressed to "10 minutes can be obtained immediately". On site, Wenzhou Customs also provides 7 × 24-hour appointment clearance, greatly improving the efficiency of TIR shipment.
Currently, the "Wenzhou (Rui'an) International Land Port" project, covering a total area of 445 acres and with a total investment of approximately 3.5 billion yuan, is accelerating in Rui'an. This is not just a simple cargo yard and departure point, but a modern comprehensive logistics hub that integrates functions such as TIR transportation management center, customs intelligent supervision place, cross-border e-commerce consolidation center, and bonded warehousing.
