Customs used customized "direct loading at anchorage" mode, convenient measures, and tech (UAV, AIS) to solve transport issues, cutting cycles by 70%. Future plans: deepen supervision reforms for special ships.

Recently, Weihai Customs (subsidiary of Qingdao Customs) seized 32000 tobacco products illegally carried by inbound passengers via airport channels. The passenger chose no declaration channel; unpacking found 160 heated cigarettes (32000 total). Tobacco entry is restricted—exceeding tax-free quantity (400 cigarettes general, 200 HK/Macau) is illegal. Customs detained the batch.
