On Jan 9, 2026, the "Ostock" ship carrying 92.5 tons of Russian king crabs docked at Damaiyu Port (Taizhou), completing customs clearance via Yuhuan Taizhou Customs—its first 2026 fresh aquatic import. Damaiyu Port (Taizhou's only aquatic supervision port) used cold chain facilities for quick clearance. The crabs will go to Yangtze Delta cities, enriching local food supplies.

Customs supported stores with "immediate inspection and release" and paperless transfer, plus provided duty-free shopping tips.
