On November 18, the 10th China-Vietnam Land Border Port Management Cooperation Committee meeting was held in China, co-chaired by Zhang Baofeng and Wu Zhongjian. It focused on port opening/upgrading, smart port pilot construction, and optimizing port business environment, reaching consensus and signing meeting minutes. Relevant Chinese departments and local port units attended.

Hainan free trade port will start island-wide customs closure on Dec 18, 2025. Customs preparations (hardware/software, supervision system, test drills, risk control, etc.) are basically completed. Next, customs will promote policy implementation to ensure smooth operation.
