Dongjiakou Port successfully completed its first bonded coke transshipment business
Recently, the foreign trade vessel "Gemini" loaded with 35000 tons of imported coke docked at berth D6 in Dongjiakou Port Area, successfully completing the unloading, bonded warehousing, and transit preparation work. This is the first bonded coke transshipment business in Dongjiakou Port Area of Qingdao Port in Shandong Province, filling the gap in bonded coke import business for foreign trade in the port area.
After the imported coke arrives at the bonded warehouse in the port area, it will be transported to overseas markets through the bonded transit trade mode. Compared to traditional trade models, bonded transit business can effectively reduce enterprise capital occupation, simplify customs clearance processes, compress trade cycles, and greatly improve the efficiency of cross-border circulation of bulk commodities.
To ensure the development of business, Dongjiakou Port Customs under Qingdao Customs focuses on connecting the entire chain of policy implementation and customs clearance supervision, and building an efficient, standardized, and convenient bonded supervision service system. During the process of ship arrival at the port, a dedicated channel for booking boarding and inspection is opened at the customs, which strengthens human resource support, efficiently completes on-site supervision and inspection, ensures that incoming ships dock and unload immediately, significantly reduces warehousing, customs clearance, and freight costs, and helps enterprises achieve load reduction and efficiency improvement.
Next, Dongjiakou Port Customs will continue to optimize cross-border trade services, promote diversified and large-scale development of bonded business in the port area, and inject strong momentum into activating regional foreign trade economic vitality and achieving high-quality development of the port area.
