Jiangsu Xiangzhao Stationery Co., Ltd., located in Changshu, Suzhou, focuses on the research and development, production, and sales of pen products. Every year, it can launch nearly a hundred new products with different materials and rich functions. The 'back to school season' in September every year is the peak period of production and sales throughout the year, with research and development, testing, and production running continuously. Raw materials have become an important factor restricting the release of production capacity, "said Sun Quanbing, the general manager of the company. In recent years, the company has focused on expanding its international market, but the high cost of importing raw materials through general trade mode has brought certain burdens to production and operation.

In a previous survey, Changshu Customs under Nanjing Customs accurately captured the actual needs of Xiangzhao Stationery for optimizing import and export processes and reducing operating costs. The customs quickly activated the policy adaptation mechanism, conducted on-site policy lectures, and guided enterprises to efficiently complete the establishment and verification procedures of key manuals, and carried out various processing and trade businesses in compliance. With the support of customs processing trade policies, the cost structure and production process of Xiangzhao Stationery have been significantly improved, and the confidence and determination to explore the market have become stronger. In the first seven months of this year, the company's processing and trade exports exceeded 16 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 39.1%.

At the same time, emerging formats such as cross-border e-commerce have allowed more well-designed and distinctive stationery products to break through in overseas markets. On August 24th, walking into the shipping warehouse of Nantong Fanzhong International Trade Co., Ltd., the shelves were filled with various stationery products - from practical and durable double-sided tape to exquisite and convenient punching machines, with a wide range of categories and everything available. On that day, the company exported more than 2000 tickets of stationery products such as laptops and tapes through cross-border e-commerce channels, with a value of about 20000 yuan.

Foreign consumers can use cross-border e-commerce delivery networks to directly purchase their desired products from domestic e-commerce platforms. We can directly assemble and ship the products, eliminating many intermediate links and greatly improving overall efficiency. The repurchase rate of products is very high, "said Zhou Wei, the person in charge of Nantong Fanzhong International Trade Co., Ltd. In recent years, the demand for Chinese stationery products from foreign consumers has continued to grow. In order to deliver cross-border packages to consumers faster, Nantong Customs, under the jurisdiction of Nanjing Customs, has established a fast inspection and release mode of "same day grouping and warehousing, same day inspection, and same day release without abnormalities". It has also collaborated with local commerce departments to promote cross-border e-commerce policies and attract more e-commerce platforms to settle in Nantong Airport, further expanding and strengthening the cross-border e-commerce industry ecosystem.
