Recently, Dalian launched Northeast China’s first imported iron ore bonded crushing business. This model shifts overseas crushing to domestic ports, improves safety, cuts delivery time from 45 to 3 days, and is supported by customs measures. It aims to build Dalian into a supply chain hub and boost the local steel industry.

On March 31st, the direct flight from Qingdao to Penang, Malaysia (first from Shandong Province and northern China to Penang) opened smoothly. China is the world's largest dry ice producer.

Ningbo Gelang Clothing Co., Ltd. produces and exports casual clothing for the African market, with Q1 exports up 55% year-on-year. Cixi Customs optimizes clearance to support such exports, and Cixi's textile & clothing exports rose 22.2% in Jan-Feb this year.

Wan Chai Customs under Gongbei Customs discovered 26 smuggled old batteries (≈1341kg) hidden on an inbound vessel, which are prohibited foreign garbage. The case was transferred to the anti-smuggling department for criminal filing per law.

On March 29th, the "Zhuhai Cebu" international freight route opened under Doumen Customs supervision, carrying e-commerce goods etc. It's Zhuhai's second Philippine cargo route, connecting central-southern Philippines, supported by customs' efficient services to consolidate Zhuhai's aviation logistics hub position.

On March 31, Zhuhai Zhongran’s fuel ship supplied bonded fuel to international vessels. Wanshan Customs’ dual warehouse reform solved prior bottlenecks, saving storage capacity, cutting supply time by over 60%, boosting efficiency, and supporting southern China’s shipping industry.

On March 30th, the first batch of lithium battery energy storage cabinets entered Zhuhai Gaolan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone, to be stored and then exported to Bulgaria, Hungary etc. Manufacturer Haibosichuang is a "new three types" foreign trade enterprise. Gaolan Customs provided targeted services to improve clearance efficiency. From Jan-Feb this year, the zone's first-line import-export rose 3.7 times year-on-year to 1.21 billion yuan.

On March 4th, Gongbei Customs' Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge Customs seized 180000 BOHEM cigarettes hidden in export goods at Zhuhai Highway Port. Export of cigarettes requires approval per China's Tobacco Monopoly Law.

Doumen Customs optimizes 7×24-hour inspection to facilitate Zhuhai Doumen live fish exports to Hong Kong, Macau and Southeast Asia. Leveraging RCEP/Belt and Road dividends, Q1 2026 exports to HK/Macau rose 3.4% YoY (7000+ tons), with 1600+ tons to Southeast Asia.

On March 21st, Jiuzhou Customs under Gongbei Customs seized a passenger carrying 311000 HKD illegally at Jiuzhou Port. It also reminds passengers of HKD carry limits within 15 days and procedures for exceeding limits.

As Qingming Festival nears, Gongbei Customs facilitates efficient clearance of fresh flowers for Macau via green channels, with 12 trucks (118170 cut flowers) exported from March 30 to April 4 this year.

Identified as skeletal products of Caryophyllales (CITES Appendix II, China's second-class protected wildlife). Customs reminds illegal carrying of endangered species/products is prohibited, with criminal liability for serious cases.

On April 4, Gaolan Customs supervised the first water-water multimodal transport cargo in Gongbei Customs District, marking the pilot project's landing. This mode enables "one declaration, one ticket connection, one box to end" for Zhuhai Manufacturing via Hainan FTP, supported by cross-customs cooperation and green channel, boosting cargo circulation efficiency.

Hong Kong Zhuhai Macau Bridge Customs seized 667g of endangered agarwood (Aquilaria genus, CITES Appendix II, China's second-class protected) from a green channel passenger who lacked legal docs. Customs reminds illegal trade is prohibited, with criminal liability for serious cases.

On March 11th, Hengqin Customs under Gongbei Customs seized 8kg of silver particles in two passenger smuggling cases. Hiding taxable items to evade customs supervision is smuggling, which may lead to criminal liability if serious.
