Guangdong's first anchor load reduction freight deduction business was successfully implemented by Huangpu Customs, reducing an enterprise's tax by over 8,000 yuan. The policy excludes inland waterway freight after goods arrive in China from dutiable value. Huangpu Customs innovated the "Huangpu Scheme" for this, with cumulative tax reduction exceeding 2.9 million yuan since 2024 pilot. Customs guides enterprises to enjoy policy dividends, planning to further improve the process.

In 2024-2025, Baiyang Village in Xinjin District built a cold chain center, obtained export registration, and opened international markets in December 2025. By January 2026, over 1000 tons of citrus (Ehime, Unknown Fire) were exported (including to Malaysia), bringing villagers higher income and employment.

Deyang's pillar industries (high-end energy equipment, chemicals) enter a global expansion window. On Jan 9, Hainan Airlines launched international connecting flights from Chengdu Tianfu to Vienna, featuring "one ticket to the end, luggage direct check" to optimize transit. Chengdu Tianfu has 38 such routes, with 2025 international passenger target 410,000.

On Jan 8, 2026, two TIR trucks departed Wenzhou for Russia (10th-11th 2026 TIR exports). TIR is a UN convention-based cross-border transport model with one-time declaration, enhancing regional logistics efficiency. Wenzhou’s TIR network expanded since 2024 (16 routes to 4 countries, 155M+ yuan goods). Customs uses intelligent supervision; future plans integrate with new foreign trade models.

On Jan 9, 2026, the "Ostock" ship carrying 92.5 tons of Russian king crabs docked at Damaiyu Port (Taizhou), completing customs clearance via Yuhuan Taizhou Customs—its first 2026 fresh aquatic import. Damaiyu Port (Taizhou's only aquatic supervision port) used cold chain facilities for quick clearance. The crabs will go to Yangtze Delta cities, enriching local food supplies.

On the 7th, a "Yiwu Ningbo Zhoushan Port" sea rail intermodal train departed Yiwu (Suxi) International Hub Port. Since its June 2025 opening, the hub has handled over 100,000 TEUs (6.62b yuan in goods value). Recently, the refueling ship "Ocean Oil 302" at Ningbo Zhoushan Port's Chuanshan Port Area completed refueling nearly 6000 cubic meters of bonded LNG for container ship "Mediterranean Jiaoyataoluo". Ningbo Zhoushan Port accelerates building an international bonded fuel refueling center, with Ningbo Customs supporting innovative modes. By 2025, its bonded LNG refueling volume will exceed 250000 cubic meters, consolidating its green shipping leading position and boosting Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone's construction.

On January 8, 2026, the "Mediterranean Jessinia" docked at Ningbo Zhoushan Port. Next day, it departed for Brisbane with 2000 TEUs of goods, marking the official opening of Mediterranean Shipping Company's Australian route (the first of 2026 at the port). Ningbo Customs assisted in the opening. The port now has over 300 routes connecting 700+ ports worldwide.
