On the morning of July 8th, the first batch of 35 Blackwater Bay Tibetan fragrant pigs were successfully transported to the fresh product inspection site at Gongbei Port for Macau. After completing the inspection and release procedures at the Gongbei Customs checkpoint, they were successfully exported to Macau.

It is reported that the Blackwater Bay Tibetan fragrant pigs have been exported to Macau for the first time in the form of live pigs, achieving a breakthrough of "zero" export of live pigs from Sichuan. Ten thousand live pigs will go to Macau within the year. Last year, Blackwater Bay Tibetan fragrant pig and suckling pig (slaughtered) achieved its first supply to Hong Kong, with a total supply of over 10000 pigs throughout the year.

At Gongbei Port, we have formulated a special supervision plan for the declaration of Tibetan fragrant pigs for export to Macau, implementing dedicated coordination, dedicated window handling, and dedicated personnel follow-up, "said Hu Bengang, the head of the Customs Supervision Department at the gate.

In order to ensure the smooth inspection and release of this batch of Tibetan fragrant pigs, the customs at the gate took the initiative to contact export enterprises, provide standardized declaration guidance, pay close attention to the movement of transport vehicles, and deploy qualified quarantine experts in advance. At the same time, we will strengthen communication and cooperation with local customs, closely monitor the preparation of certificates, document circulation and other links, and implement convenient measures such as priority document review and inspection. On the premise of passing the departure inspection and quarantine, try to shorten the clearance time as much as possible.

The export of live pigs from Heishui County, Sichuan Province, with the national geographical indication of "Se Wan Tibetan Fragrant Pig", has filled the gap in the supply to the Australian market and further opened up the path for characteristic agricultural products from the western Sichuan Plateau to "go down the mountain and out to sea". Next, the customs at the gate will continue to improve the quality and efficiency of regulatory services, ensuring that they are "manageable and accessible quickly", and helping Macau residents to have a more stable and secure delivery of their "meat dishes".
