Recently, Dalian launched Northeast China’s first imported iron ore bonded crushing business. This model shifts overseas crushing to domestic ports, improves safety, cuts delivery time from 45 to 3 days, and is supported by customs measures. It aims to build Dalian into a supply chain hub and boost the local steel industry.

On March 31st, the direct flight from Qingdao to Penang, Malaysia (first from Shandong Province and northern China to Penang) opened smoothly. It operates every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday with 6.5h one-way time. Qingdao Airlines says it fills the transport gap; customs optimizes clearance and supports route preparation.

On April 7th, 25 tons of dry ice from Rizhao Daily Henglengyuan was qualified for export by Rizhao Customs. Global dry ice demand grows; the company started export in July 2025, exported 932.4 tons in Q1 2026. Customs optimized inspection (half-day process) to reduce sublimation loss. China is the world's largest dry ice producer.

With global outdoor leisure consumption booming, courtyard umbrellas are hot in overseas markets. Qingdao Wanhui exported over 50 million yuan of them in Q1, running at full capacity. Qingdao Dagang Customs launched facilitation measures (advance declaration, etc.) to cut clearance time, assisted enterprises with TBT, and will further optimize services to help Qingdao-made courtyard products sail overseas.

On March 30th, the first batch of lithium battery energy storage cabinets entered Zhuhai Gaolan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone, to be stored and then exported to Bulgaria, Hungary etc. Manufacturer Haibosichuang is a "new three types" foreign trade enterprise. Gaolan Customs provided targeted services to improve clearance efficiency. From Jan-Feb this year, the zone's first-line import-export rose 3.7 times year-on-year to 1.21 billion yuan.
