Recently, the "Marine Geology No. 9" successfully completed its long-distance scientific research mission and slowly docked at Pier 1 of Qingdao Dagang. This is the first scientific research ship to dock at Qingdao Dagang this year. After quickly completing the customs entry ship supervision procedures, the "Marine Geology No. 9" will sail to the Qingdao Scientific Research Ship Base to carry out subsequent scientific research and analysis work.

The "Marine Geology No. 9" is a multifunctional comprehensive geophysical (geological) survey vessel, whose performance has reached the international advanced level. It can carry out various marine geological survey work such as multi parameter ocean current measurement, geological sampling, and shallow geological drilling. The scientific research vessel departed from Qingdao in November last year to carry out offshore field operations and returned after completing the inspection task.

In order to ensure the smooth "return home" of the "Marine Geology No. 9" scientific research ship, Qingdao Dagang Customs, a subsidiary of Qingdao Customs, communicated with the shipping agency in advance to timely understand the health status, navigation plan and other information of the crew and scientific research team members. After the ship docked at the port, it carried out boarding quarantine and health supervision work as soon as possible. At the same time, relying on the "single window" of international trade, the customs will implement paperless processing for ship declaration, material loading and unloading, and other businesses, further improving the clearance efficiency of ships and helping scientific research teams to carry out follow-up work as soon as possible.
