Mount Huangshan "One Leaf" exports 1.58 billion yuan in 2025

A few days ago, the 209kg Maofeng green tea and black tea produced by Mount Huangshan Qimeng Tea Industry Co., Ltd. were cleared at the customs supervision place of Mount Huangshan Tunxi International Airport and transferred to Prague, Czech Republic through Guangzhou and Frankfurt, Germany.

"The original exports were all large tea categories such as Mei tea and broken tea. Mount Huangshan Maofeng and Qimen black tea were mainly sold in China, and this year we received high-quality orders for famous and high-quality tea." Shao Hui, general manager of Mount Huangshan Qimeng Tea Industry Co., Ltd., said, "The customer needs to be urgent, and the order delivery time is short. The customs suggested that we use the method of 'empty transfer, one order to the end' to ensure timely delivery."

After understanding the enterprise's demands, Mount Huangshan Customs affiliated to Hefei Customs timely sorted out the relevant requirements of the export destination country, guided enterprises to improve the quality and safety control system from the planting base to the processing workshop, and optimized the declaration acceptance, on-site inspection, release and certificate issuance and other processes. This batch of tea can be transported from Mount Huangshan to Prague in 46 hours by adopting the mode of "air to air transfer, one order to the end".

"Our company's tea is mainly exported to the African and Central Asian markets, with an export of 530 million yuan in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 20.1%." Cheng Fushou, head of Mount Huangshan Yipin Organic Tea Industry Co., Ltd., introduced. At present, the company has established a joint venture in Fergana Oblast, Uzbekistan, with a market share of approximately 20% in the Uzbekistan tea market. Expanding into the international market is not easy, as short delivery times for orders and the difficulty of finding a single container bring uncertainty to completing orders on time

To this end, Mount Huangshan Customs has coordinated with the railway department to facilitate the opening of the "Mount Huangshan Hefei Tashkent" tea special train and the "Xuancheng Mount Huangshan Chizhou Ningbo Zhoushan Port" sea rail intermodal train. At present, more than 1000 TEUs of exported tea have been sent, which can save more than 20% of the logistics cost for enterprises. In addition, the customs also promptly reported the risk warning information of the main export destination countries, guided enterprises to improve their quality traceability system, and since 2022, a total of 159 issues of "Food Safety Anhui Special Export Food Safety Information Quick Report" have been pushed to export enterprises. In 2025, the export value of tea in Mount Huangshan City will reach 1.58 billion yuan, up 15.8% year on year. (This newspaper's correspondent Xu Xiao)
