Recently, at the Port of Port Arthur, Dalian Customs' Port Arthur Customs completed the export clearance procedures for two domestically produced bulk carriers with a load capacity of 64000 tons, and the two giant ships were successfully delivered and set sail.
The two bulk carriers exported this time are the new generation of ship types optimized and upgraded by Dalian COSCO Shipping Kawasaki Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. They are equipped with advanced energy-saving and emission reduction technologies, which can effectively reduce navigation resistance and improve propulsion efficiency, and are suitable for the transportation of bulk dry bulk cargo.
To ensure timely delivery of ships, Lushun Customs has implemented the appointment boarding and "ship inspection upon arrival" mode, combined with convenient policies such as advance declaration, consolidated taxation, two-step declaration, and guaranteed release, effectively reducing the clearance time for ship exports; At the same time, we will promote the implementation of the "smart telecommunications quarantine" model, expand the application scenarios of equipment, improve the efficiency of single ship quarantine by 80%, and achieve a "dual improvement" of supervision and service.
According to statistics, the Port of Port Arthur Customs will supervise a total export value of 11.2 billion yuan for new shipbuilding in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 26.5%; The export value of intermediate goods such as ship structural components was 3.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.5%.
