At the Ningbo Airport Port, new energy vehicles can "fly" out to sea!
On January 21st, a batch of domestically produced new energy vehicles under Geely Group cleared customs at the Ningbo Airport Port and will be sent to Europe for distribution on the 3V827 flight the next day, and then sent to Germany or Sweden for testing.
The reporter learned from Ningbo Airport Customs that as early as May last year, domestically produced new energy vehicles had achieved their "first flight" at Ningbo Airport Port, but were subsequently interrupted due to route reasons. With the resumption of the Ningbo Liege international freight route (every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) on January 9th this year, this business has been restarted.
Thanks to the opening of air routes, batches of domestically developed test vehicles have arrived at European testing sites to carry out key tasks such as performance verification and compliance certification, accelerating the process of aligning "Chinese technology" with international standards.
This batch of new energy vehicles, from factory to destination, only takes 5-6 days, making it suitable for overseas exhibitions, vehicle testing, and other scenarios that require high timeliness, "said Xu Zhuojun, the person in charge of the Ningbo branch of Sinotrans Air Transport Co., Ltd." The efficient service of customs not only ensures the timely departure of test vehicles, but also gives us more confidence in organizing vehicles to participate in European exhibitions and explore markets in the future
In January of this year, Ningbo Airport Port is expected to ship 13 domestically produced new energy vehicles, exceeding last year's total export volume and achieving a good start to the new year.
