The spring tide hits the shore, and since the beginning of the year, the "yacht economy" in Zhuhai has become increasingly hot. On the morning of January 24th, a newly built medium-sized high-end yacht with a length of about 21 meters and a weight of about 15 tons was successfully loaded and shipped to the Western Regions Port for customs clearance under customs supervision at the shipyard of Zhuhai Jieteng Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. It is about to be exported overseas through Hong Kong.

This is not only Zhuhai's first export yacht of the year, but also a "water clearance" practice tailored for "big guys". This yacht belongs to ultra long and ultra high cargo, with a special structure that cannot be disassembled. Land transportation is inconvenient, and the traditional customs clearance mode is difficult to adapt to the export needs of enterprises. How to transport goods to the customs supervision area has caused difficulties for Mr. Fan, the administrative manager of Zhuhai Jieteng. In the past, such large goods needed to be split and loaded onto trucks, transported by land to the customs supervision area, and then cleared through customs procedures, which was costly, time-consuming, and prone to damage to the goods

After learning about the difficulties faced by the enterprise, Wan Chai Customs conducted in-depth research and docking with the enterprise. Based on the successful experience in the early stage, they tailored a customs clearance plan for each enterprise and innovatively adopted the "off-site loading+port clearance" mode for export transportation. Under customs supervision, the enterprise lifts the yacht onto the ship, transports it to the dock in the customs supervision area, completes the customs export clearance procedures, and directly goes to the destination port. After the implementation of the new model, enterprises no longer need to split land transportation, and the entire process does not require onshore storage, achieving off-site supervision of loading, immediate processing, and fast customs clearance.

We have dispatched personnel to carry out outbound loading supervision operations, and simultaneously adopted information technology to achieve remote video monitoring and ship trajectory tracking, ensuring smooth customs clearance, "said Zhang Chan, Chief of the Supervision Department of Wan Chai Customs.

The convenient customs clearance mode avoids the possible cargo damage caused by splitting transportation and secondary loading and unloading, and it is expected to save more than 100000 yuan in comprehensive costs for a single export, "Mr. Fan said. (Text/Song Kaiyue, Kong Feiyang)
