As international cargo flights smoothly land at Ningbo Lishe International Airport, global delicacies such as Chilean cherries, North American mitten lobsters, and Bengali green crabs, which cross mountains and seas, are being transported to supermarket shelves and dining tables in Ningbo and the Yangtze River Delta at the fastest speed through the "fresh food clearance fast lane" created by Ningbo Airport Customs.
In 2025, Ningbo Airport will import 2727.5 tons of fresh goods worth 340 million yuan, an increase of 60.3% and 42.1% respectively compared to the same period last year. The imported fresh goods cover multiple categories.
Freshness equals value in fresh products. In response to the diverse types and high requirements of fresh food import documents, Ningbo Airport Customs provides advanced services to understand the import planning and actual needs of enterprises in advance, guide enterprises to register and apply for relevant permits for overseas production, processing, and storage of imported agricultural products before declaration, clarify declaration requirements, and communicate with enterprises in a timely manner to ensure "zero errors" in documents and achieve "immediate review and release upon arrival".

Currently, there are 7 international cargo routes in operation, providing stable support for fresh goods from Southeast Asia, South America and other regions to directly reach Ningbo, and building a diversified fresh food supply chain with "cross continental direct and regional coverage".
Recently, a batch of Bangladeshi green crabs worth 210000 yuan arrived at the airport on flight I99854. The Ningbo Airport Customs immediately activated the "green channel" for fresh goods, taking less than 4 hours from enterprise declaration to cargo release, maximizing the quality of fresh crabs.
