Upgrade to "Front Cargo Station+"

On January 12th, a batch of electronic components were waiting for security checks and assembly at the Kunshan Logistics Center Pre Cargo Station in the Yangtze River Delta International Airport (hereinafter referred to as the "Kunshan International Airport Pre Cargo Station"). After completing the procedures, they will be transported to Shanghai Pudong International Airport by special vehicles for installation and takeoff. As the first comprehensive aviation pre cargo terminal under the filing system in China, Kunshan International Airport's pre cargo terminal route network covers more than 100 countries and regions around the world. According to statistics, the pre freight station will complete a total import and export value of 16.175 billion yuan by 2025.

The main import and export method of the electronic information industry is air transportation. The front-end cargo terminal integrates customs supervision nodes into the operation chain of air logistics, civil aviation security checks, etc. After completing the procedures, it is transported to the airport by special vehicles, inspected and released, and can be installed. Through this air freight expressway, the logistics efficiency of enterprises from Kunshan to Shanghai can be improved by more than 60%, and operating costs can be reduced by more than 30%.

Foreign trade channels should be smoother, and domestic trade routes should also keep up. In December 2025, the first batch of domestic trade goods from Jiangsu Province will be sent to Guangzhou through the pre cargo terminal of Kunshan International Airport, marking the "two-way expansion" of the pre cargo terminal service map. Benefiting enterprises in Kunshan and surrounding areas, this is not only a "through train" for goods to travel from home to the world, but also a "fast lane" for serving the unified domestic market.

Previously, domestic trade goods wanted to be transported by air, and most of them required agent companies to complete procedures such as transportation and security checks at the airport. There were many transfers, and the safety of goods may also be affected by rainy and snowy weather, "said Xu Liang, Deputy General Manager of Kunshan Lufeitong Aviation Logistics Co., Ltd

Kunshan International Airport's front-end cargo terminal anchors the main line of promoting high-quality economic development during the 15th Five Year Plan period, actively explores the functional expansion of "front-end cargo terminal+", and provides solid logistics support for foreign trade "going global", domestic trade expanding demand, and promoting high-quality development.
