Recently, an all cargo flight from Indonesia landed at Wenzhou Longwan International Airport, marking the official opening of the Wenzhou Jakarta international cargo route. This is the first new freight route opened by Wenzhou Airport this year.

The maiden flight was loaded with 14 tons of live green crabs, frozen East Star Spotted and other edible aquatic animals, as well as frozen aquatic products. After inspection by Wenzhou Customs, the flight was successfully cleared. The route is planned to operate three times a week, mainly importing Southeast Asian specialty edible aquatic animals and frozen aquatic products.

To ensure efficient customs clearance of the first batch of aquatic products and subsequent edible aquatic animals and chilled aquatic products on the new route, Wenzhou Customs has proactively understood the import needs, cargo categories, and flight plans of enterprises, and guided them in completing procedures such as approval of import animal and plant quarantine permits, registration of consignees and consignees, and registration of overseas production enterprises; Joint airport group and airport cargo terminal inspect designated supervision sites for goods, focusing on verifying key links such as cold chain storage temperature, inspection area settings, and epidemic prevention and disinfection facilities to ensure that the site meets inspection standards and provides hardware support for "immediate inspection upon arrival". Review documents in advance, confirm flight information, and ensure "check upon arrival of goods".

In recent years, Wenzhou Airport Port has continued to expand its international air cargo network, and has successively opened cargo routes to Seoul, Manila, Clark, Tashkent, etc. The addition of the "Wenzhou Jakarta" route has further expanded the radiation range of Wenzhou Airport's international logistics, and injected new momentum into the economic and trade exchanges between Wenzhou and countries along the "the Belt and Road".
