Li Qiang separately met with the heads of the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and United Nations Conference on Trade and Development

Li Qiang stated that in recent years, due to intensified geopolitical turmoil and increasing international economic and trade restrictions, global trade and investment trends have been sluggish, and the risk of industrial and supply chain fragmentation has increased, greatly dragging down world economic growth. In this situation, the Chinese economy is steadily advancing and always adheres to injecting certainty and stability into the world economy to the best of its ability. During the 15th Five Year Plan period, the Chinese economy will continue to improve. We will adhere to the strategic basis of expanding domestic demand, promote the benign interaction between consumption and investment, supply and demand, and enhance the endogenous driving force and reliability of the domestic circulation. We will promote the construction of a modern industrial system in the direction of intelligence, greening, and integration, and strengthen industrial docking and cooperation with more countries to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the global industrial and supply chains. We will implement more proactive macro policies, starting from market concerns, better leverage the role of fiscal and monetary policies, and maintain economic growth within a reasonable range. We will continue to open up our super large market to the world, share development opportunities with other countries, and handle economic and trade frictions through strengthened dialogue and communication, in order to better achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Li Qiang pointed out that China firmly supports the international system with the United Nations at its core, supports the work of various international economic organizations, and is willing to promote the implementation of the four major global initiatives by all parties, practice true multilateralism, and advance an equal and orderly world multipolarity, inclusive and inclusive economic globalization. China is willing to maintain a good cooperative relationship with the World Bank and strengthen cooperation in areas such as knowledge, pension, and RMB loans. China will continue to provide strong support for the operation of the Shanghai center of the International Monetary Fund, actively promote the reform of IMF shares, and deepen cooperation in helping low-income countries develop. China is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, focusing on expanding cooperation in areas such as green minerals, digital economy, artificial intelligence, and low-carbon transformation.

Peng Anjie, Georgieva, and Greenspan stated that China has achieved remarkable development achievements in recent years, playing an important role in promoting world economic growth. China's 15th Five Year Plan will bring valuable certainty and strong momentum to the world economy. All parties highly appreciate China's valuable assistance to the development of the global South over the long term, and are willing to further strengthen policy communication with China, deepen cooperation in trade and investment, artificial intelligence, green development and other fields, and work together to promote trade and investment facilitation and open and inclusive development, adhere to multilateralism, uphold the authority of multilateral institutions such as the United Nations, and reform and improve the global governance system.
