The theme of this dialogue is "Discussing Global Governance and Seeking Global Development Together", which aims to further consolidate broad consensus, promote coordinated and effective actions by all parties, build a more just and reasonable global governance system, and promote common development.
Li Qiang stated that the world economy in 2025 can be described as fluctuating and tortuous, struggling to move forward in the face of headwinds. The emergence of some new situations and trends has put forward urgent needs for reforming and improving global economic governance, and maintaining the international economic and trade order. Open cooperation is a key entry point and an important path for implementing global governance initiatives. Only open cooperation can create greater incremental space, maintain stable and smooth supply chains, and accelerate technological and industrial upgrading. We should increase mutual market opening, avoid politicizing and securitizing economic and trade issues, strengthen innovative international cooperation, and jointly cultivate and strengthen new driving forces for development.
Li Qiang emphasized that China has always been a firm practitioner and promoter of open cooperation. This year, the Chinese economy has made progress under pressure and achieved new development results. We are confident and capable of completing the annual economic and social development goals and tasks. Not long ago, the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China approved the proposal for the "15th Five Year Plan" and made strategic plans for China's development in the next five years. The Chinese economy will maintain a steady and positive momentum, the total economic output will reach a new level, industrial upgrading will create new development space, and the demand for ultra large scale markets will be accelerated. The door of China's opening up will continue to widen, and more foreign companies are welcome to come to China to explore the market.
Li Qiang expressed that China is willing to work with all parties to build a mutually beneficial and win-win international economic and trade pattern, promote the deepening of economic globalization, enhance the authority and effectiveness of multilateral mechanisms, and gather greater forces to promote common development. China will continue to actively undertake international obligations that match its own capabilities, constructively participate in international exchanges and cooperation, provide more public goods, and contribute greater strength to promoting the healthy and stable development of the world economy.
The head of an international economic organization stated that in the past year, China's economy has maintained steady growth and made significant contributions to global economic growth. China's 15th Five Year Plan is highly aligned with international economic and trade growth, injecting confidence and new momentum into global development. China firmly supports multilateralism, supports the development of the global South, promotes the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind, and sets an example for the world. All parties are willing to strengthen communication and cooperation with China in areas such as trade and investment, green development, artificial intelligence, livelihood and employment, financial stability, and sustainable development, uphold multilateralism and the free trade system, and jointly promote global economic development.
Wu Zhenglong participated in the above-mentioned activities.
