Recently, Guangzhou Customs seized a batch of drug marijuana weighing 8783 grams at the Baiyun Airport port in Guangzhou.
During the supervision of a batch of transit parcels, customs officers at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, a subsidiary of Guangzhou Customs, discovered abnormal machine inspection images of a parcel declared as "packaged dried fruit". Customs officers immediately intercepted and further inspected the package, discovering dozens of "snacks" inside. Some of the "snacks" have traces of repackaging on their outer packaging. After opening the "snack" packaging bag, it was found that there were brown plants inside that were sealed in a transparent packaging bag, emitting a pungent odor. After being sent to a technical institution for identification, it was confirmed that the above-mentioned plant is marijuana, weighing 8783 grams.
