The preliminary round of the northern region of the National Customs Health and Quarantine Skills Competition was held in Harbin

Recently, in order to thoroughly study and implement the important reply spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping to all customs officers of Hongqilafu Customs, implement the deployment of the 2025 National Customs Health and Quarantine Work Conference, consolidate and deepen the "Three Year Action to Enhance the Capability of National Gate Defenders", and forge a high-quality and professional health and quarantine team, the Northern Regional Joint Cooperation Group 2025 Health and Quarantine Post Training Skills Competition and the Northern Regional Preliminary of the National Customs Health and Quarantine Skills Competition for Public Health Emergencies at the Port were held in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province.  
The member units of the collaborative group, including Beijing, Tianjin, Hohhot, Manzhouli, Dalian, Shenyang, Changchun, and Harbin Customs, selected 46 athletes from 1318 trainees to participate in the competition. The competition is divided into two parts: written test and practical skills. After intense competition and strict evaluation according to the competition rules, 8 teams won team awards and individual awards. Harbin and Dalian Customs advanced to the finals of the National Customs Health and Quarantine Skills Competition.  
This competition has achieved the expected goal of promoting training and enhancing capabilities through competition, effectively improving the overall professional level of the customs health and quarantine team in the northern region. The Northern Regional Joint Cooperation Group for Public Health Emergencies at Ports will take this competition as an opportunity to carefully summarize experience, learn from each other, further stimulate the initiative and enthusiasm of cadres and staff to study business and improve skills, integrate the spirit of hard work and excellent work style demonstrated in the competition into daily work, transform it into a powerful driving force for promoting the high-quality development of health and quarantine work, continuously improve and optimize the emergency prevention and control system for emergency response and coordination, and make greater contributions to building a strong national biosafety barrier.
