The implementation of the "batch inspection (quarantine)" reform will accelerate the customs clearance of seasoning exports in Xinhui
Recently, a batch of premium umami soy sauce from Li Jinji (Xinhui) Food Co., Ltd. was released through the "batch inspection (quarantine)" mode. This is the first batch of seasoning exported through the "batch inspection (quarantine)" mode in Jiangmen Customs District.
The reform of batch inspection (quarantine) for exported agricultural and food products is an important measure for customs to optimize the business environment and promote stable and high-quality foreign trade. In this mode, after the first inspection and quarantine of the products of credit enterprises are qualified, the subsequent declaration of "same batch inspection unit" products can be verified by customs without the need for on-site inspection, effectively reducing the frequency of inspection and achieving "immediate declaration and immediate release".
For many years, Lee Kum Kee sauce products have been well received in domestic and international markets, and exported to more than 100 countries and regions around the world. As a leading enterprise in the export of seasoning products in Jiangmen Customs District, Li Jinji (Xinhui) Food Co., Ltd. has been listed as the first pilot enterprise for this reform, covering various seasoning products of the company.
After the implementation of the 'batch inspection (quarantine)' mode, the customs clearance efficiency of the company's products has been greatly improved, and the goods have become more flexible and efficient in warehousing, logistics, and shipping arrangements, "said Peng Yong, Deputy Director of Logistics (Export Finished Products) at Lee Kum Kee (Xinhui) Food Co., Ltd.
Xinhui Customs, under the jurisdiction of Jiangmen Customs, takes this reform as an opportunity and implements precise policies to promote advanced certified enterprises to enjoy policy dividends first. The customs actively plays the role of the "Jiangmen Customs (Xinhui) Seasoning Industry Technical Trade Measures Research Workstation", smoothing the "green channel" for local inspection, and combining a series of convenient measures such as "cloud issuance", self-service printing of certificates of origin, and rapid laboratory testing, to help the smooth clearance of seasonings and press the "acceleration button" for the export of seasonings in Jiangmen.
Next, our customs will increase policy promotion and guidance efforts, promote more eligible enterprises to join the reform pilot, and let the achievements of smart customs construction benefit more enterprises, helping local specialty foods further explore the international market, "said Wu Xiancheng, head of the Inspection Department of Xinhui Customs.
According to customs statistics, from January to October this year, Jiangmen exported 11149 batches of seasonings with a value of 1.351 billion yuan.
