Customs at the gate seized a man who had bound and hidden 54 old mobile phones before entering the country

On November 13th, a man bound 54 old mobile phones and entered the country through Gongbei Port, but was caught by customs on the spot.

At around 18:50 on the same day, a mainland man named Liu entered through the "green channel" of the Gongbei Port Inspection Hall, with an abnormal expression and deliberate evasion. He was intercepted by on-site customs officers at the Gongbei Customs checkpoint. After further inspection, the customs officers seized a total of 54 old mobile phones wrapped in plastic film from his waist, abdomen, and legs.

Customs reminds that according to relevant regulations, those who evade customs supervision by hiding and bring goods that should be taxed according to law into the country are considered smuggling activities. If the circumstances are serious enough to constitute a crime, they will be held criminally responsible in accordance with the law. (Written by Guo Shanshan)
