People's Daily: Ningbo Customs promotes economic and trade cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries

This report states that Ningbo Customs actively serves the high-quality development of economic and trade cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries. This customs has played the role of three platforms: communication, consultation, and monitoring and early warning. It has developed two online service scenarios: "Customs clearance for imported goods from Central and Eastern Europe" and "Access information query for agricultural and food products exported from Central and Eastern European countries to China", forming a mature one-stop customs regional cooperation platform. This year, Ningbo Customs established a mechanism for sharing and contacting inspection and quarantine information between China and Central and Eastern European countries, achieving frequent business exchanges with relevant institutions in Central and Eastern European countries. At present, the annual throughput of containers between Ningbo Zhoushan Port and Central and Eastern European countries exceeds 1 million TEUs. Ningbo Port has 12 sea freight routes and 3 passenger and freight routes with Central and Eastern European countries.
