Morocco makes final anti-dumping ruling on Egyptian polyvinyl chloride resin
On November 24, 2025, the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Announcement No. DDC/13/2025, making a positive final ruling on the anti-dumping of polyvinyl chloride resin (PVC) originating in Egypt, recommending the imposition of anti-dumping duties on the products involved, with Egyptian Petrochemicals Company accounting for 74.87% and other producers/exporters accounting for 92.19%. The Moroccan tax number of the product involved is 39.04.109.00.
On November 27, 2024, the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade initiated an anti-dumping investigation into polyvinyl chloride resin originating from Egypt. The dumping investigation period of the case is from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2024. On May 5, 2025, Morocco made a preliminary positive ruling on the case and imposed temporary anti-dumping duties.
