More than a thousand intelligent devices, including automatic guided transport vehicles and fully automatic pouring robots, work closely together, with an average of over 500 vehicles being produced from here every day.
At the same time, a monthly overseas product line meeting is being enthusiastically held in the building next to the workshop. The main person in charge of the factory, Lynk&Co's overseas sales team, and R&D personnel gathered together to conduct in-depth discussions on the current overseas market expansion strategy, regional sales performance, and product optimization direction.
We are comprehensively reviewing sales dynamics in various regions, analyzing customer feedback, promoting product improvement and capacity enhancement, and making every effort to expand overseas markets, "said Bai Kai, the overseas project management manager of the factory. From January to October this year, the factory has exported 14600 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 290%.
As the global quality center and manufacturing center of Geely Automobile Group's Lynk&Co brand, Lynk&Co's Yuyao factory has been continuously expanding its overseas layout since its launch in 2020. Baikai said that the achievements of going global are due to the comprehensive improvement of new energy passenger vehicles in the core technology and intelligence of "three electric". At present, the Lynk&Co 01 EM-P and Lynk&Co 08 EM-P series have been exported to Europe, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
The prosperity of one car drives the strength of the entire chain. At present, Yuyao has initially formed an industrial foundation covering new energy vehicles, lightweight automotive parts, power battery systems, and in vehicle optical and electronic manufacturing. Only within the Sino Italian Ningbo Ecological Park, the automotive sector led by Lynk&Co has gathered 16 component companies, achieving an output value of 22.19 billion yuan last year, accounting for 44.5% of the park's total industrial output value above designated size. From January to October this year, the company's export value reached 17 million yuan, and its products were exported to the European, Southeast Asian, and African markets, and have been widely recognized by overseas customers for their stable performance
While focusing on production challenges, Liu Dayong is taking the lead in promoting the signing and implementation of key projects for the fourth quarter. It is reported that the company will customize a mobile optical storage system for a mining site in Malaysia. The system has the core advantages of direct transportation and rapid deployment, and can achieve efficient power supply in weak areas of the power grid such as mines and oil fields, solving the pain points of slow response and high cost of traditional power supply modes.
In order to promote the smooth export of the "new three types", Yuyao Customs has taken the initiative to provide advanced services, actively promoted convenient measures such as "early declaration" and "self-service printing" of certificates of origin, effectively compressed customs clearance time, and implemented a "local+port" linkage escort mechanism for urgent orders, connecting the entire process of "declaration, inspection, and release".
Data shows that from January to October this year, the export value of "new three samples" products in Yuyao City reached 3.08 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 120.8%.
