On December 1st, more than 30 precious art pieces from the Art Museum of Chicago in the United States were transported to the Ningbo Museum after completing the customs transfer procedures at the Yinzhou Customs under the jurisdiction of Ningbo Customs, including two masterpieces of Monet's "Water Lilies" series. The batch of imported exhibits completed the unpacking operation under the full supervision of Yinzhou Customs and officially entered the Ningbo Museum for exhibition, preparing for the upcoming exhibition "Monet's Poetry: East West Aesthetic Dialogue from Chicago to Sanjiangkou".

As an annual heavyweight exhibition launched by the Ningbo Museum, this exhibition will focus on showcasing the collections of the Ningbo Museum and the Art Museum of Chicago in the United States. With the theme of "mutual learning between the East and the West", it presents Chinese ceramics, Buddha statues, calligraphy and painting, as well as European glassware, sculpture, printmaking and other art treasures. Through the form of "gazing from afar", it allows art to have a dialogue in the same time and space. The exhibits from the Art Museum of Chicago in the United States are temporarily imported and have been touring in Beijing and Suzhou, with Ningbo as the final stop of this tour.

There are many painting relics in the exhibits of this import, which are extremely sensitive to changes in light, dust, temperature, and humidity, and need to be stored in a constant temperature, enclosed, and dry environment. This batch of exhibits covers original works by famous artists, with a large quantity, high value, and strict transportation and storage conditions. Therefore, during the preparation stage of the exhibition, we were very worried that the exhibition time would be tight. However, we did not expect the fast speed of customs handling the customs transfer procedures and on-site supervision, which relieved our worries. "Chen Chao, Director of the Exhibition Department of Ningbo Museum, said," Considering the high-value and precious nature of this exhibit and the positioning of this exhibition's public cultural exchange, customs not only tailored a convenient measure of 'on-site supervision+no guarantee' for us, but also provided professional guidance throughout the entire process from exhibit declaration and transfer to on-site supervision, saving us a lot of time and cost. With the efficient and professional support of customs, we have the confidence to undertake more high-quality international cultural exchanges. Activity. "(Lu Chenze, Huang Bin, He Ling/Wen)
