Front page of China Guomen Times: Ningbo Customs supports economic and trade cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries
Ningbo Customs recently announced that it actively plays the role of a "customs clearance escort" in the China Central and Eastern European Countries Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone, using information empowerment and efficient services as the starting point to fully promote the high-quality development of China Central and Eastern European Countries' economic and trade cooperation.
It is reported that Ningbo Customs has developed two online service scenarios, namely "Customs Clearance for Import of Central and Eastern European Goods" and "Access Information Inquiry for Agricultural and Food Products Exported from Central and Eastern European Countries to China", by utilizing three platforms for communication, consultation, and monitoring and early warning. This has formed a mature one-stop customs regional cooperation platform. In 2025, Ningbo Customs will promote the establishment of a mechanism for sharing and contacting customs inspection and quarantine information between China and Central and Eastern European countries, achieving normalized communication with relevant institutions in Central and Eastern European countries in daily business.
At present, the annual throughput of containers between Ningbo Zhoushan Port and Central and Eastern European countries exceeds 1 million TEUs. Ningbo Port has opened 12 sea freight routes and 3 passenger and freight routes between Ningbo Port and Central and Eastern European countries.
