Fujian Xiaoyu Umbrella Supports Overseas Market - Fujian Province's Foldable Umbrella Exports Exceed 2 Billion in the First Three Quarters

Fujian is known as the "Umbrella Capital of China", and the folding umbrellas produced here are leveraging the advantages of automated production and craftsmanship to support a vast overseas market. According to Xiamen Customs statistics, in the first three quarters, Fujian Province exported a total of 2.047 billion yuan of folding umbrellas, a year-on-year increase of 4.18%, ranking second in the country in terms of export value.
Data shows that Asia is the largest export market for folding umbrellas in Fujian Province, with a cumulative export value of 1.246 billion yuan in the first three quarters, a year-on-year increase of 24.22%, accounting for 60.88% of the total export value of folding umbrellas in Fujian Province during the same period. The main exports were to Japan and the Philippines, with export values of 549 million yuan and 345 million yuan, respectively, a year-on-year increase of 25.45% and 63.13%. From the perspective of enterprise nature, private enterprises are the "main force" of Fujian's foldable umbrella exports. In the first three quarters, a total of 1.269 billion yuan of foldable umbrellas were exported, a year-on-year increase of 3.81%, accounting for 62.01% of the total value of Fujian's foldable umbrella exports during the same period.

Establishing a "green channel" for the export of seasonal umbrellas, implementing methods such as advance declaration and appointment inspection, to help enterprises reduce operating costs, shorten customs clearance time, and assist Fujian folding umbrellas in expanding into the international market.
