The 12th meeting of the Joint Management Committee for Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS) under the China New Zealand Free Trade Agreement was held in Guangzhou
On November 28th, Zhao Zenglian, Deputy Director General of the General Administration of Customs, and Ray Smith, Executive Deputy Minister of the New Zealand Ministry of Primary Industries, co chaired the 12th meeting of the China New Zealand Free Trade Agreement Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS) Joint Management Committee in Guangzhou.

Both sides comprehensively summarized the progress of cooperation since the 11th meeting, fully affirmed the practical achievements of the working group meeting, and clarified the next steps of cooperation topics. Both sides agreed to jointly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of China and Singapore, continue to deepen the institutionalized cooperation of China Singapore customs inspection and quarantine, and further promote the healthy development of China Singapore agricultural and food trade.
After the meeting, both parties signed meeting minutes and customs inspection and quarantine cooperation documents.
