'Guanxin' supports Hong Kong firefighting efforts

At 6:15 am on November 27th, before dawn, a tense and orderly atmosphere had already enveloped the travel inspection and clearance hall at Liantang Port in Shenzhen. A batch of rescue and exploration drones will be urgently transported to the scene of the fire rescue in Tai Po, Hong Kong.

Yan Chao, the director of the Liantang Customs Office under Shenzhen Customs, is using a walkie talkie to make final confirmation of all channels on site. 10 minutes later, under the orderly guidance of the on-site customs officers at Liantang Customs, the batch of 10 rescue drones were transported by the mainland fire rescue department to the Shenzhen Hong Kong border at Liantang Port and successfully handed over to the Hong Kong Fire Rescue Department.

At 9:00 am on the same day, two emergency rescue vehicles loaded with 2500 blankets were guided by Huanggang Customs officers and quickly cleared the "emergency rescue special channel" at Huanggang Port, rushing to Hong Kong for assistance.

When we saw the disaster stricken scenes in the news, our company immediately launched a fundraising campaign for rescue supplies and urgently allocated supplies from all over the country overnight, hoping to make a modest contribution to the affected compatriots, "said Xue Yu, Director of the President's Office of Minhua Furniture Group (Huizhou) Co., Ltd." Thanks to the customs' dedicated channel for quick inspection and release, disaster relief supplies can be delivered to those in need faster. We are very pleased

In order to ensure the clearance of rescue materials for the Tai Po fire in Hong Kong, Shenzhen Customs has taken prompt action in accordance with the "highest priority" work requirements, formulated a Hong Kong fire emergency rescue clearance guarantee plan in a timely manner, formulated graded and classified clearance guarantee measures, set up "emergency rescue dedicated channels" and barrier free inspection areas, provided a "7 × 24 hour" clearance mechanism, synchronously provided on-site manpower support, and strengthened the full process clearance guidance of rescue materials. At the same time, the customs will further facilitate communication channels with relevant departments of provinces, cities, and Hong Kong, establish a notification mechanism, and obtain real-time clearance demand lists for wounded, rescue personnel, materials, etc. Priority will be given to the inspection and release of rescue personnel, vehicles, and materials, fully ensuring the efficient and smooth clearance of aid materials for Hong Kong.
