India launches anti-dumping investigation on polyester warp yarn from China

On November 20, 2025, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that it would initiate an anti-dumping investigation into polyester textured yarn originating from or imported from China, in response to applications submitted by Indian companies Reliance Industries Limited and Wellknow Polyester Limited. This case involves products under the Indian customs code 54023300. The dumping investigation period of this case is from April 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 (15 months), and the injury investigation period is from 2021 to 2022, 2022 to 2023, 2023 to 2024, and April 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.
