Fujian's exports to other BRICs countries exceeded 100 billion in the first three quarters

With the deepening of the BRICs cooperation mechanism, the trade between Fujian Province and other BRICs countries is full of vitality of win-win cooperation. At the beginning of this year, after Indonesia joined the BRICs, the trade between Fujian Province and other BRICs countries has injected new vitality. According to the statistics of Xiamen Customs, in the first three quarters of this year, the total export value of Fujian Province to other BRICs countries has exceeded 100 billion yuan, reaching 100.74 billion yuan, an increase of 4.9% year on year. The export value in a single month has maintained positive growth for seven consecutive months, showing a strong momentum of development and resilience.
In this wave of export, private enterprises are undoubtedly the most active force. In the first three quarters, private enterprises in Fujian Province exported 72.59 billion yuan to other BRICs countries, an increase of 7.8% year-on-year, accounting for more than 70% of the total export value of Fujian Province to other BRICs countries in the same period, fully demonstrating its role as the "main force" of foreign trade.
As an emerging force to explore the BRICs market, the export of foreign-funded enterprises also maintained a growth rate of 6.5%. The electronic paper display module produced by CHENHONG Technology (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. is favored by the BRICs market with its advantages of low carbon, energy saving and display effect. "According to the demand characteristics of the target market, we continue to increase research and development investment, optimize product performance, and the overall export data is relatively bright. Since this year, the company's export volume of e-paper display module to BRICs countries has increased by a full 200million yuan compared with last year." zhengmeibao, Customs Manager of CHENHONG technology, said.
Fujian Province actively supports enterprises to explore emerging markets. With Indonesia officially joining the BRICs family, Fujian enterprises seized the opportunity to export 24.84 billion yuan to Indonesia, up 13.9% year on year; Exports to India, another important partner, also performed well, reaching 16.81 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.2%. Both achieved double-digit growth and became an important engine to drive overall exports.
The "gold content" of export commodities is also rising. The export performance of high-tech products is particularly outstanding. The export of automobiles is 5.67 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 66.7%. The export of lithium batteries has increased by 1.6 times year-on-year. Products such as electrical control devices and flat panel display modules have also increased steadily at a year-on-year growth rate of 16.7% and 5%, respectively.
As a large bus sales enterprise in Fujian Province, Xiamen Jinlong station wagon Co., Ltd. produces new energy buses with good adaptability and environmental protection characteristics to meet the urgent needs of BRICs market for green upgrading of public transport. "Through the establishment of CKD bulk plants in Egypt and other BRICs countries and the improvement of localized operation, we not only enjoy the local tariff preference, but also shorten the delivery cycle. In addition, the customs' facilitation of customs clearance and innovative policies on processing trade supervision also significantly reduce the compliance and operating costs of vehicle exports. ”Zhouhaifeng, manager of the business department of Jinlong station wagon overseas sales company, said, "since this year, our market share in the BRICs countries has increased significantly, and the export volume has increased by 31.6% year on year. Among them, the sales in the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Indonesia have increased by 105.79%, 138.66% and 83.79% year on year respectively."
The bright rise of trade data is inseparable from the efficient and smooth customs clearance environment. Xiamen Customs closely follows the characteristics of economic and trade exchanges between Fujian and other BRICs countries, strengthens policy propaganda and guidance, and provides "one-stop" consultation for enterprises around BRICs' technical standards and rules of origin, so as to help enterprises declare compliance and fully enjoy policy dividends. At the same time, Xiamen Customs pays close attention to the dynamics of the BRICs market and the development trend of the foreign trade industry, provides customized customs clearance schemes for characteristic industries including new energy vehicles and high-end equipment, and implements convenient measures such as early declaration and appointment inspection for export goods to ensure "zero delay" in customs clearance of goods.
