Recently, two batches of imported sesame from Brazil once faced difficulties in customs clearance because the type of processing plant filing in the phytosanitary certificate did not meet the regulatory requirements. "Our registration process in Brazil is fully compliant. We have not only passed the local official on-site investigation, but also completed the filing with the General Administration of Customs of China by the Brazilian official as required. I don't know why there is a discrepancy between the types of enterprises?" Mr. yazeed Hanna, the head of the Brazilian enterprise (sezam Zaad Comercio de sementes LTDA) in China, was very anxious with the supporting materials. He was worried about the storage fees and delivery delays that might be caused by the detention of goods.

"We reported the relevant situation at the first time, promoted the disposal of problems, assisted enterprises to connect with the General Administration of customs and the Brazilian embassy in China, completed the update of enterprise registration information in five working days, and ensured the smooth customs clearance of more than 370 containers of goods in Hong Kong and in transit." said Li Hong, deputy director of the second comprehensive business division of Huangdao customs.
In the letter of thanks, the enterprise fully affirmed the efficient service of the Chinese customs, and said that it strengthened the confidence of the enterprise to deeply explore the Chinese market and long-term cooperation with China.
From resolving the customs clearance blocking points to winning the sincere recognition of enterprises, the application of "Fengqiao Experience" in the new era has realized the governance upgrading from "dispute resolution" to "matter and mind solutions". As one of the first demonstration sites of Qingdao Customs to practice the "Fengqiao Experience" of the new era, Huangdao customs relies on the entity studio to accurately capture the demands of enterprises by holding enterprise policy lectures, carrying out special business training, and coordinating the activation of the "three forces" of business experts, public lawyers, and dispute mediators to effectively crack the customs clearance blocking points. At the same time, relying on the application of digital intelligence means such as "digital customs officer" and "data cube", the document review time was shortened by 13% year-on-year, which further reduced costs and increased efficiency for enterprises' customs clearance, effectively transformed the temperature of grass-roots governance into the depth of mutual trust between customs and enterprises, and injected warm kinetic energy into the development of foreign trade.
