The export of flat glass in Fujian Province doubled in the first 8 months of this year

The urban construction boom, the rebound in automobile production, and the increase in photovoltaic installed capacity have collectively driven up the demand for flat glass in regions such as ASEAN, Latin America, and Africa. In the first eight months of this year, exports of flat glass to ASEAN amounted to 48.188 million yuan, an increase of 14.3%. At the same time, strong efforts were made to explore the markets of Latin America and Africa, exporting flat glass worth 91.018 million yuan and 51.023 million yuan respectively, an increase of 384.7% and 403.3% respectively, accounting for 48.2% of the total export value of flat glass in Fujian Province during the same period. Among them, the export growth rate to Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and other countries was impressive, exporting flat glass worth 28.724 million yuan, 14.655 million yuan, and 10.31 million yuan respectively, an increase of 591.1%, 770.5%, and 25.8 times respectively.
Private enterprises play a leading role. In the first eight months of this year, private enterprises in Fujian Province exported flat glass worth 280 million yuan, an increase of 170.6%, accounting for 94.5% of the total export value of flat glass in Fujian Province during the same period. It is worth noting that the independent brand flat glass in Fujian Province has developed rapidly, with exports reaching 260 million yuan, an increase of 165.6%, accounting for 86.9%.
