The number of foreign trade entities with actual achievements exceeded 10000 for the first time in history during the same period. In the first 8 months, there were 10114 import and export enterprises in Sichuan, a record high for the same period in history, an increase of 18.5%. The import and export of foreign-invested enterprises reached 409.16 billion yuan, an increase of 1.2%, accounting for 56.5%; The import and export of private enterprises reached 269.4 billion yuan, an increase of 13.1%, accounting for 37.2%, an increase of 2.3 percentage points compared to the same period last year; The import and export of state-owned enterprises reached 45.59 billion yuan, an increase of 13.6%, accounting for 6.3%.

In the first 8 months, Sichuan's imports and exports to ASEAN reached 160.63 billion yuan, an increase of 7.7%, accounting for 22.2%; Imports and exports to the United States amounted to 111.58 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.2%, accounting for 15.4%; Imports and exports to the European Union amounted to 111.17 billion yuan, an increase of 4.2%, accounting for 15.3%.
