Domestic trams' flying 'out to sea

Recently, under the supervision of Fuzhou Changle Airport Customs under the jurisdiction of Fuzhou Customs, three domestically produced new energy electric vehicles boarded flight I99899 in batches, departing from Fuzhou Changle International Airport and flying to East Midland Airport in the UK. In just one week, two batches of domestically produced new energy vehicles have successively "flown" out to sea, marking the successful opening of a new air transport channel for lithium battery special cargo and high value-added goods at Fuzhou Airport Port, and taking a substantial step forward in the air transport guarantee capability for special cargo.

New energy vehicles equipped with large capacity lithium batteries belong to aviation special cargo, which has extremely strict requirements for collection standards, safety control, operation specifications, and qualification review. Fuzhou Changle Airport Customs, under the jurisdiction of Fuzhou Customs, has developed a special protection plan in advance to address the high risks, strict audits, and high standards of lithium battery special cargo air transportation. It has refined the entire process operation standards, comprehensively assessed transportation risks, improved emergency plans, and coordinated with airlines, cargo terminals, freight forwarders, and related enterprises to provide policy guidance in advance, focusing on regulating dangerous goods declaration, lithium battery state of charge control, and safety appraisal material review. At the same time, in order to optimize the transportation, warehousing, and installation routes based on the overall size of the vehicle, we will implement scheduled customs clearance, priority inspection, and precise follow-up by regulatory forces to ensure smooth connection and smooth implementation of customs clearance, inspection, and installation processes.

With the gradual stable operation of this "air corridor", the hub role of Fuzhou Airport in cross-border logistics of high-end manufacturing products is further highlighted, injecting new momentum into the expansion of overseas markets for "Made in Fujian" and "Made in China".
