In the first 7 months, Fujian Province exported audio and video equipment and its components worth over 3 billion yuan
In recent years, the global consumer electronics market has continued to grow steadily under the dual drive of AI technology empowerment and product iteration and upgrading. The domestic audio and video equipment industry has vigorously explored the market with its huge industrial cluster and technological innovation, driving the export of supporting parts to grow accordingly. According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first seven months of this year, the export of audio and video equipment and its parts in Fujian Province was 3.26 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%.
Data shows that ASEAN is the largest export market for audio and video equipment and their components in Fujian Province. In the first seven months of this year, Fujian Province exported audio and video equipment and its parts to ASEAN worth 1.33 billion yuan, an increase of 19.6%, accounting for 40.6% of the total export value of audio and video equipment and its parts in Fujian Province during the same period. Among them, exports to Thailand amounted to 990 million yuan, an increase of 29%. It is worth noting that the export of audio and video equipment and its components from Fujian Province to the Middle East region has shown remarkable growth, with exports reaching 130 million yuan, an increase of 83.4%.
Foreign invested enterprises are the main force in the export of audio and video equipment and their components in Fujian Province. In the first seven months, foreign-invested enterprises in Fujian Province exported audio and video equipment and its parts worth 2.16 billion yuan, an increase of 12.7%, accounting for 66.1% of the total export value of audio and video equipment and its parts in Fujian Province during the same period. In addition, the export of audio and video equipment and its components from state-owned enterprises in Fujian Province has grown rapidly, with exports reaching 130 million yuan, an increase of 79.1%.
Processing trade is the main way for Fujian Province to export audio and video equipment and its components. In the first seven months, Fujian Province exported 1.78 billion yuan of audio and video equipment and its parts through processing trade, an increase of 9.5%, accounting for 54.4%.
