Fujian Province, with its competitiveness in technology, materials, and other aspects, has become an important province for the production and export of safety helmets in China. According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first seven months of this year, the export of safety helmets in Fujian Province was 370 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.6%, ranking fourth in the country in terms of export value.

Nearly half of the safety helmets in Fujian Province are exported through general trade. In the first seven months, the export of safety helmets in Fujian Province was 180 million yuan, an increase of 83.5%, accounting for 49.7% of the total export value of safety helmets in Fujian Province during the same period. The United States is the largest market for safety helmet exports in Fujian Province, with exports of 130 million yuan in the first seven months, an increase of 67.4%, accounting for 35.1%. During the same period, exports to the European Union and ASEAN amounted to 93.61 million and 43.368 million yuan respectively, an increase of 11.2% and 21%, respectively, accounting for 37.4% of the total.
