On August 18th, a series of sedan cars loaded with new energy vehicles orderly entered the Meisi Roll on/Roll off Terminal yard at Zhoushan Port in Ningbo. These cars will be sent overseas through roll on/roll off transportation after being supervised and inspected by Meishan Customs under Ningbo Customs. According to statistics from Ningbo Customs, from January to July this year, the export value of automobiles at Ningbo Port was 36.962 billion yuan, with an export volume of 368800 vehicles, an increase of 68.01% and 72.99% year-on-year, respectively. Among them, the export value of new energy vehicles, as the core export force, was 30.034 billion yuan, with an export volume of 263500 vehicles, an increase of 98.55% and 103.3% year-on-year, respectively. The export value of new energy vehicles accounted for 81.26%.
