Rongcheng Marine Health Food Goes from Deep Sea to the World

On August 17th, entering the dust-free purification workshop of Weihai Baihe Biotechnology Co., Ltd. located in Rongcheng, Shandong, 17 imported soft capsule production lines are running at full speed. Boxes of deep-sea fish oil, marine collagen, and astaxanthin soft capsules undergo processes such as raw material purification, precision filling, sterilization, and packaging before being transported offline.

We adopt internationally leading microencapsulation technology to improve product stability and human absorption rate, "said Sun Pengfei, the foreign trade manager of the company." Fish oil soft capsules, evening primrose oil, krill oil, and coenzyme Q10 are the company's main export products. The company has obtained more than 20 aquatic product registrations and related certification qualifications in the United States, Canada, the European Union, and other countries, and its products are exported to more than 70 countries and regions. ”

Rongcheng is located in the golden sea area at 37 degrees north latitude, where the Western Pacific Ocean current intersects with the Bohai Bay coastal current. The Yellow Sea cold water mass and warm current gather, making it a natural breeding ground for over a hundred economic fish and shrimp species to lay eggs, feed, and migrate. Relying on its unique resource endowment, Rongcheng has gathered over 500 marine food and pharmaceutical enterprises, processing 2.4 million tons of marine food annually, producing 5 billion fish oil soft capsules and 2 billion doses of children's drugs annually, with a significant industrial cluster effect.

The rapid development of the industry relies on the continuous optimization of the customs clearance environment. Rongcheng Customs, a subsidiary of Qingdao Customs, vigorously promotes facilitation measures such as early declaration and "cloud issuance" of certificates to achieve "immediate declaration, immediate review, and immediate release", ensuring the efficiency of customs clearance for marine biological raw materials and finished products. At the same time, the customs professional technical team provides international market access guidance for enterprises through the "precise push of technical and trade measures" mechanism, helping them cope with international trade technical barriers calmly and integrate more deeply into the global supply chain system.

From the deep sea to the workshop, from Rongcheng to the world, a path of marine health industry based on technology and quality is becoming wider and wider. According to statistics, in the first seven months of this year, Rongcheng Customs supervised the export of marine health food products such as fish oil and cod liver oil soft capsules, with a value of about 40 million yuan, nearly doubling year-on-year.
