With the certificate of origin from China and South Korea, enterprises exporting fishing lines to South Korea can enjoy an 8% tariff reduction, reducing the procurement costs for overseas customers. Jinhua Dongyang is a highly influential fishing gear industry base in China and even globally, producing 70% of the country's fishing lines and nearly 55% of the world's fishing lines. It has formed an industrial system covering all categories such as fishing hooks, fishing wheels, fishing rods, and baits, gathering more than 300 fishing gear and supporting enterprises. Its products are exported to more than 40 countries and regions such as Russia, Germany, and South Korea.
In view of the fact that most of the raw materials, such as fishing hooks, carbon fiber fishing rods, fishing boat accessories, are imported while a large number of finished products are exported, Jinhua Customs has launched online quick service for the whole process of processing trade. Relying on the "Internet plus+Customs" platform, enterprises can achieve "one network access" for processing trade filing, change, verification and cancellation, greatly reducing business processing time and simplifying the operation process. Taking Dongyang Weite New Materials Co., Ltd. as an example, the company imports fishing hook raw materials through processing trade mode, which can enjoy tariff reduction policies in the import process. The entire process is simple and effective in relieving the pressure of raw material stocking and overseas order delivery.
In addition, in March of this year, the Dongyang Land Port Cross border E-commerce Supervision Platform was put into operation, and Jinhua Customs simultaneously followed up to carry out special assistance for cross-border e-commerce, providing services such as policy promotion, process training, and customs clearance guidance for enterprises. A group of local fishing gear enterprises, such as "Modern Fishing Gear," have taken the lead in developing cross-border e-commerce models. Small orders and multiple batches of orders do not need to travel back and forth to the port, and can complete the full process of customs clearance and release at the doorstep, achieving "fast running for small orders and stable release for large orders".
