On July 6th, Linyi Wanhang International Trade Co., Ltd. completed the inspection, packing, and customs clearance process for a batch of pre packaged foods covering 183 categories including seasonings, beverages, and canned goods at the Linyi International Land Port consolidation warehouse. This batch of goods consists of 13 units, divided into 4 containers. After completing customs clearance procedures in Linyi, they will be loaded onto ships at Yantai Port and finally transported to Guinea.
Pre packaged food is very popular in Guinea, and we export several batches every month, "said Jiang Wei, the business manager of the company. The stable supply is due to the leapfrog expansion and upgrading of the pre packaged food procurement and export pilot in Linyi market.
By the end of 2025, Linyi will expand the pilot scope of market procurement for pre packaged food exports and obtain approval. The pilot export commodity categories will be expanded from the original 10 categories to 20 categories. The policy coverage and international market radiation have significantly increased, greatly activating the trade vitality of the food industry, attracting many merchants to take advantage of pilot policies, deeply cultivating the overseas food track, and expanding the international market.
To help enterprises better explore overseas markets, Linyi Customs, a subsidiary of Qingdao Customs, has implemented a new regulatory model of "inspection before shipment", accurately solving the pain points of difficult unpacking, finding and reloading of food products for consolidated export, significantly reducing the inspection time of goods, and continuously amplifying trade advantages.
In this export shipment, 13 product names were declared, and 12 of them were hit for inspection. The entire inspection process took only 50 minutes to complete, "said Yu Lei, Deputy Director of the Port Supervision Department of Linyi Customs Mall. If the traditional unpacking inspection and repackaging operation mode is used, the inspection of goods of the same volume will take at least several hours.
Relying on the pilot policy dividends of expanding the export of pre packaged food through market procurement and innovative customs supervision measures, Linyi's characteristic pre packaged food exports have reached a new speed. In the first half of this year, Linyi Customs supervised the market to purchase and export 48 batches and 75 TEUs of pre packaged food, with a total value of 11.2753 million yuan.
