In June in Lingnan, ripe lychee cicadas chirp. On June 26th, in the production workshop of Guangzhou Chuangxian Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., workers were grading and selecting a batch of 25kg Zengcheng Xianjinfeng lychee. After being supervised and released by Zengcheng Customs under Huangpu Customs, this batch of lychee will be sent to Southeast Asian markets.
The best fruit in Lingnan is lychee, and the hometown of lychee is Zengcheng. Xianjin, as a characteristic variety of lychee in Zengcheng, is known as the "Queen of Lychee" due to its small core, thick flesh, sweet and juicy characteristics. This year, Xianjin Fengli branches from Chuangxian Agriculture were sold to the Southeast Asian market for the first time. Company leader Liu Shufen introduced that in the past, the company relied on a single traditional market. Now, with the assistance and guidance of Zengcheng Customs, the company has jumped out of the traditional market and mainly promoted high-quality lychee varieties such as Xianjinfeng, which are resistant to storage and have a good taste. By relying on high quality, the company actively explores overseas high-end markets.
From the branches to the tip of the tongue, not only should it have a fresh taste, but it should also be marketable. To this end, Zengcheng Customs conducted on-site visits to enterprises, sorted out and summarized the admission standards for export markets, guided enterprises to adjust their layout, and expanded their export scope. At the same time, training will be provided to export enterprises to guide them in improving their quality systems. Zengcheng Customs has also opened a "fresh-keeping channel", relying on convenient measures such as "appointment inspection", "inspection upon report", and "cloud issuance", to ensure that exported lychees are "issued quickly and have zero stops", minimizing the time for fresh fruits to be detained on the way, and allowing overseas consumers to taste fresh Zengcheng lychees that have just branched out.
According to statistics, as of the end of June this year, the export value of lychee under the supervision of Zengcheng Customs has reached 638000 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.3 times. (Pu Xuan/Text)
