In recent years, the strategic emerging industries in Fujian Province have accelerated their development, with more and more high-tech products accelerating their overseas expansion, activating new momentum in foreign trade. According to Xiamen Customs statistics, from January to March, Fujian exported high-tech products worth 32.88 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.7%, accounting for 12.2% of the province's total export value during the same period. Among them, the export value in March reached 12.02 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.6%.

From the perspective of category structure, computer and communication technology products consistently rank first in export commodities. According to Xiamen Customs statistics, from January to March, Fujian exported computer and communication technology products worth 16.12 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.8%, accounting for 49% of the total export value of high-tech products in the province during the same period; Among them, automatic data processing equipment and its components such as central processing units and LCD monitors were mainly exported, with a total export value of 8.95 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.9%. Optoelectronic technology products ranked second. From January to March, Fujian exported a total of 5.4 billion yuan worth of optoelectronic technology products, a year-on-year increase of 19.5%, accounting for 16.4%; Among them, the export of LCD flat panel display modules was 4.75 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.9%. Electronic technology products ranked third. From January to March, Fujian exported a total of 4.42 billion yuan worth of electronic technology products, a year-on-year increase of 43.2%, accounting for 13.4%; Among them, electronic components such as integrated circuits, diodes, and similar semiconductor devices were mainly exported, with a total export value of 3.17 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 47.3%.

From the perspective of export markets, ASEAN is the main trading partner for Fujian's high-tech product exports. Data shows that from January to March, Fujian exported high-tech products worth 6.47 billion yuan to ASEAN, a year-on-year increase of 54.9%, accounting for 19.7% of the total export value of high-tech products in the province during the same period; Among them, exports to Thailand and Malaysia amounted to 1.64 billion yuan and 1.43 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 41% and 1.7 times year-on-year. During the same period, Fujian exported high-tech products worth 5.67 billion yuan to the European Union, a year-on-year increase of 9.3%, accounting for 17.3%. In addition, from January to March, Fujian exported 2.82 billion yuan of high-tech products to emerging markets in Latin America, a year-on-year increase of 47.7%, accounting for 8.6%.

Foreign invested enterprises and private enterprises are the two main forces in Fujian's high-tech product exports. According to officials from Xiamen Customs, from January to March, foreign-invested enterprises in Fujian exported high-tech products worth 18.79 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.8%, accounting for 57.1% of the total export value of high-tech products in the province during the same period; Private enterprises exported 12.55 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 36.2%, accounting for 38.2%. In addition, from January to March, state-owned enterprises in Fujian exported high-tech products worth 1.54 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 34.1%, accounting for 4.7%.
